On behalf of our client Travelport, we are looking for an accomplished and versatile administrative assistant with some finance experience. Travelport Denmark is based in Bredgade, Copenhagen and works closely with the offices in Oslo & Stockholm. In the Nordic Countries Travelport employs more than 30 people, while operating worldwide in 160 countries and with approximately 5,400 employees.
Your main accountabilities will be the following:
·Accounts Payable – validate and scan invoices as well as general query support
·Payroll and Expenses – administer and maintain holiday and absence database for each employee and link to HR, pension and other company benefit issues
·Tax and VAT – provide administrative back-up for local accountants and provide local language support to the main Finance Department in the UK
·Miscellaneous marketing tasks
The position is 50% administrative and 50% financial and it entails a large amount of interdisciplinary cooperation.
Your skills and experience:
·3 years experience in office administration in a multinational company
·Well organized, proactive, self-disciplined and a high degree of self-motivation
·Danish as mother tongue, while comfortable speaking and writing English and preferably also one other Scandinavian language
·Excellent time management and a clear ability to prioritize work while working multiple tasks simultaneously
·Awareness of budgetary and staff management issues
·Experience and/or genuine interest in marketing related tasks.
